I purchased two wall air conditioners from Len Harris on May 4th 2017. First off, this was the cheapest I could find. I went to PC Richards and another neighborhood appliance store and they both wanted over 2000 for both ac's plus installation. My wife and I went to Len Harris shortly after and felt very welcomed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and the process was pretty easy. We saved about 500 bucks using this company. Now, fast forward to today. The company sent over a gentleman named Franklin to install the ac's. Unfortunately it was a 90 degree day and the guy was alone as his partner called out sick. Anyway, he worked very hard, he was very neat, and cleaned up ever piece of debris created by the installation. He was a real gentleman and a very hard working man. This seems like a great mom and pop store with excellent staff. I highly recommend the store and the installers. My wife and I are very pleased with our new air conditioners and we have Franklin to thank!i usually buy appliances at pc richards. this week my 12 year old ac broke down...today the apartment reached indoor temp of 90 degrees. len harris is 4 blocks from my residence but i always thought they were small shop and expensive. my landlord suggested len harris as they have purchased appliances from them before. my wife and went there today and we were impressed. forget pc richards. len harris is also family owned and their prices compete with the big store chains like pc rich,sears, etc. the staff is small but very knowlegable. howard,,the salesman was very courteous and patient.,,no rush and gave suggestions. wow..i should have came here years ago..we got and ac and was able to get good quote plus after discussing , an aditional discount. they also took the old dinorsaur ac from us. i highly recommend len harris. this is a small but impressive family run business. i was very comfortable with no sale pressure tactics..check them out, or check out their website. if live in flushing,,shop at len harris.Excellent, relaxed service. A nice change from pushy, annoying sales people at most large chains. Knowledgeable stuff. Joe was very helpful, beyond the info pertaining to the unit that I ended up buying. Great selection of other appliances too. They gave us the best price, the delivery and installation was scheduled and done in the time period they told us, and the installers took out our old machine and left the area clean. Took off one star because the machine "walked" when we first used it, and after a couple of calls and a little investigation, we figured out that this particular model came with an extra set of shipping bolts which we easily removed and which fixed the issue! The guys at Len Harris gave us great service and we are happy to recommend them to friends and family.Excellent appliance store. I recently bought a fridge and dishwasher. I screwed up with the size of the fridge and they were able to take it back and deliver one that fits - no hassle or multi calls. Len and Howie are very helpful

Bought new kitchen appliances and a window AC unit for my mom's Coop apartment in Forest Hills. Len Harris made the purchase a positive experience. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end, especially since I was coordinating this project from another state. Len guided me thru the process and directed me towards the appropriate appliances for a small galley kitchen. I would strongly recommend Len Harris as they are true professionals, pricing competitive with the big box stores and outstanding customer service. A+A+A

Delivery of my new air conditioner arrived early (7:30am) this morning. Installer was courteous, professional and quick. He also did a good insulation job and caulking around the unit. I've purchased from Len Harris Appliances in the past. They have competitive prices, better than PC Richard's. And they're in the neighborhood. My father’s company A-1 Antenna has been dealing with Len for nearly 45 years. I have also had the pleasure of helping my dad and dealing with Len, his son Kenny, Howard and others. They are genuinely good people, with excellent customer service and products. Anything I can buy from Len, I will go to him before any big chain store. When someone has been in business as long as he has, he is most certainly doing something right!

Len Harris Appliances is the place to go for quality service and appliances. They are willing to answer all your questions. The installers arrived on time. They were extremely professional, skilled and very neat. Our air conditioner was installed without any problems. One caveat: installation cost is higher than most but the trade off is no headaches.

We had a great experience purchasing our new washer and dryer from Len Harris. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful in checking inventory and getting us all the parts necessary. Delivery and installation was very smooth as was the haul away of old machines. Prices are competitive and got my machines delivered within a week.

I strongly recommend the Len Harris appliances business. The quality of their products, their service, their follow up, their delivery, their installation, their warrantees, in every way, they are honest, trustworthy and honorable. Even though I dealt mainly with Howard, I also dealt with other members of their team, and their entire team, they are all professional, dependable they are superb. I have bought several appliances from them, including two a/c recently, and I am enjoying them immensely; especially these two a/c’s which I got during the recent heat wave. I use the remote control, turn one on, set it to 78°F - 80°F (because I like this temperature), and enjoy.

Len Harris saved Thanksgiving! I had ordered a refrigerator directly from the manufacturer in September and after their logistics company cancelled on us 7 times I found myself about to host thanksgiving without a fridge suited to the task. I called Len Harris on Tuesday. Jonathan let me know that my model was in stock and also let me know other less expensive versions were in stock too. He sent me the spec sheets and I was able to place the order by phone. Just over 24 hours later the refrigerator was already installed in my kitchen ready for the holiday! I am so amazed at how quick and easy the process was. I didn’t even have to go to the showroom and they made sure I got my appliance the very next day. Highly recommended!!

What a great experience! Customer service was phenomenal since all the employees are not only familiar with all the brands but but are willing to work with their customers. The facility it clean, calm, and their employees have patience like no other place. They don't just try to sell you any product, they take the time to ask you questions about what you're looking for in the product, how much space you have to work with, and inform you the pros and cons of the product.This is not my first time shopping at Len Harris and it won't be my last.

When my LG refrigerator of 7 years suddenly stopped cooling, it set off a hunt for a fix or a new appliance.  The discovery that LG refrigerators have a compressor issue is its own story, but ultimately, I found myself looking for a new refrigerator at a time when production and supply chain issues created challenges to new appliance shopping.  In order to navigate a purchase not from a major US market supplier, I found myself looking for a vendor who could help with questions.  Online recommendations led me to Len Harris, although I didn't initially think I could visit during work hours.  Instead, on their website, they have a handy option to start a chat inquiry, which turned out to be perfect for me. Via text, I sent my size, space, and configuration preferences, and a specific preference for decent service should my new refrigerator need servicing (not so for LG!).  The communications with Len Harris were professional, timely, thorough, and knowledgeable.  I wish I could have visited their store, but I felt I received forthright advice on what I could choose, and thoughtful follow-through on delivery, installation, and co-op considerations.  I completed purchase with invoice within a day. Delivery/installation went well, with the delivery staff reaching out about 30 min prior to arrival, and completing their work quickly.  The European refrigerator had an unconventional connection to my water line, so the delivery staff could not complete that part.  Len Harris immediately connected me with an appliance repair guy who came by two days later (because of my schedule) to complete the installation.   Len Harris is a neighborhood appliance vendor with superior service.  If you know exactly what you want and don't need any help at all, you can do cheaper elsewhere, but this it the kind of place to get professional advice and follow-up for issues.  I'm happy to support a place with this level of service, and I'm thrilled with my new refrigerator!

Len was extremely helpful came to my home to double check the measurements for the purchase of a bottom freezer refrigerator. We weren't sure which model would fit in a small space but Howard found a brand that fit. Great teamwork from Len and Howard. Highly recommended and great service.

All there is to say terrific! Prices are good, and the people that come to install appliances are fabulous! Franklin was so nice, he and his helper were immaculate , no mess after taking out and then installing new stove and microwave with backslash! The guys that delivered my fridge the next day actually washed the wall behind the old unit!
