the screen automatically blinks seven and beep's. the light & vent turns on. i starts cooking @ 77:77. i came home today and the vet was on and the microwave was on with the time remaining set for 50 minutes

it's a very well-made microwave so far i love it they only thing that i will say, should be more user manual i had to go to youtube to find out how to set up the time instructions that came with it they are wrong but i love the color and the features.

Doesn't work… won't heat up food, tech has been here 3times to repair it because the magnetron is defective- the part has lifetime warranty but I have to use their tech to repair at a high cost.. price to repair is more than price of new microwave. I trusted the brand and now sit here completely Disappointed Lack of customer service. We've had it for 3 years and it worked for maybe half the time.

purchased this microwave less than 2 yrs ago and upgraded all my appliances w samsung, $6,500 worth. microwave broke, tried the recommended repair places and they were both out of business, samsung just shrugged it off, bounced ne around for 3 days, best buy shrugged it off said it was samsung's issue. this $490 microwave didnt last 2 years! the good one i replaced lasted 17 yrs. tried calling the samsung rep in my area and she wont return my calls. the only color that matches this black-stainless is samsung. ive been done so wrong on this and samsung seems to have no real person with a real solution. baton rouge is the capital city and you dont have an autorized repair shop! give me a break.

i have owned this microwave for 3.5 years. in that time i have had the door replaced twice. it is constantly having buttons phantomly pressed. it will turn the vent on turbo in the middle of the night etc. clearly a product issue as two replacements have not helped and other reviews include it as well.

nothing but problems,
purchased as a set with samsung wifi range and samsung smart fridge as well as samsung dishwasher in 2018.
worked well 1st year and started getting phantom presses. first it was rare and eventually turned out to be several times a day. we paid for the repair in 2020 and it was ok for several months. started doing phantom presses again. this time we just ignored it. and now just last week it fully died. no power at all. i checked outlet and breaker panel and no issue there.
for what its worth i wasted $480 and would unlikely consider samsung again. i had $99 microwave that worked over 8 years without single issue.

two years ago (2019) the wife and i bought the microwave/refrigerator/dishwasher black stainless. 1 year (2020) into having the micro. it started to automatically turn the fan & lights would do the same thing ect. samsung replace what they called a default in the door. today 4-8-21 same problems but this time my product is out of warranty so to my surprise it will cost 250 for labor and 250 for parts. might as well buy a new micro. samsung proceeded to tell me that my problem with the device is a fire hazard and that i should unplug it asap and not to use it until repaired. this is the same issue as the pervious one exactly one year apart. seems to me samsung has an issue with the microwave. with all the reading i'm not the only one with the same issues.

only had it about 3 years and i shouldve taken it back at the first sign of trouble but we bought a full samsung kitchen and wanted to keep the same look. it started with the number 7 constantly showing up. next was the vent, i'd wake up in the middle of the night to hear it going on high with no usage. the final and killer blow was during use it started smoking like the unit was on fire so much so that it set off our smoke detectors in multiple rooms. i love samsung all other appliances and tvs are samsung but the microwaves need work. hope there are new models without the issues coming out.

This was a great value. I love how quiet it Is and the options available. The presets and sensor options are handy. The overhead grill option is awesome. And the ceramic inside makes it so easy to keep clean. Excellent addition to our new kitchen!

what a disappointment and a waste of money samsung had become! we replaced all appliances 1.5 years ago - 3 samsung and 3 lg. each samsung appliance didn't last even 2 years without electronic board burning out. luckily, the range and fridge had extended warranties and were repaired at no expense except a waste of time. but the microwave only has 1 year warranty and now samsung is asking for $350 control board replacement! why would in burn after a year of minimal use??? i tell everyone now not to buy samsung anymore!

since day 1 we had to silence because it will automatically start clicking the number 7 by itself and we got tired of hearing the beeping noise all night. the issue escalated to the point where the fan began to turn itself on without being prompted. we would come home to the fan being on with no one home. at this point, the entire microwave will turn on by itself and begin heating nothing and is a complete fire hazard! we are now afraid to walk away from the microwave or especially leave the house without completely unplugging. it could very easily turn itself on and run for 77:77 because that seems to be the number it inputs before turning on. samsung will not help because microwave is out of warranty even though there are clearly many people with varying degrees of the exact same issue.

have had this for 2.5 years. suddenly decides one day to continuously ask us to push ok (and then started running for 77 minutes) or clear, which reset it to the clock for a while until it went back to the request for ok, or clear again. woke up one night to find it running, thank goodness i put a mug of water in it. after reading other reviews (42 pages of bad reviews) i was afraid it could start running, which it did. i called,they told me it had been off warranty for six months and scheduled a local repair to contact me. it would cost me over 500 dollars just to have the techs walk in the door. seriously?? never again.

My Samsung Microwave has worked great for over 3 years now. I am an accomplished cook and baker and I use every function that this product offers. For me, it doubles as a second oven. Browning works well but you need to use the stand. The 1000 watts provides even warming throughout oven...no cold spots. Compared to GE Profile, Jenn Air and Kenmore products, it was a great product then and has held it value today...

I was so excited to purchased this particular model. Even traded the door-within-a- door refrigerator option I doubted I would use to get this superior model, but much to my dismay, there's only a pathetic owner's operating manual printed on newspaper quality paper giving very pathetic instructions how to use all of the options--unlike their 4-door refrigerator and the stove I also purchased at the same time.
This leaves me at a loss to make any other judgments on it other than the normal features seem to work, but I still can't figure out how to even toast let alone broil.

Great idea of combining all of those features together in one product. Was working ok, when it was working.
BUT!!!!
IT STOPPED WORKING AFTER 1 YEAR AND 6 MONTHS.
6 MONTHS AFTER WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED.
I called Samsung support and they told me that they have to send repair guy and it will cost me 200 plus parts. Seriously?
So about 350 to fix failed door touch panel.
It really too much. Seriously.
I called LG, trying to understand my options, occasionally told the story, they redirect me to another guy and I have got NEW LG OVER THE RANGE MICROWAVE WITH A 40% off deal. That was less then I was supposed to pay for repair my new not working Samsung.
Just do not buy. Try to find other options.

Although recently installed, the MW is a good looking product. However, the power of the MW leaves a lot to be desired. It appears underpowered because food has to be 'cooked' longer than our last MW. Also, the value is overrated; i.e., cost to performance; because of the 'lower' power.

Grill does not get hot enough to grill unit functions turn on an off by them self grill time take 2 to 3 times longer than specified times, had the unit fix 2 times in 18 months for the same issue now the microwave stop working. This unit is nothing more than a show piece. I have had nothing but problems always having to unplug and reset the unit to get it to work properly. This unit that I have is a real lemon I am going to see if I can get it fix for the last time if this does not work I will not buy anything from Samsung again

I purchased this product in August of 2016 along with 2 other high end Samsung appliances and I have been less than pleased. This particular product works when the colon is flashing only. So I can open and close the door hoping and praying the colon will flash to see if my microwave will work. I also have had intermittent 7's across the screen and now C-FO is the code and will not change. Very unhappy and will never purchase another Samsung product because they will not stand behind their product after several calls.

Just over a year old, only use to heat things up, never cooked in it. Called customer service said if part is under warranty then it will be covered but not the labor. Well, it wasn't covered and the 30.00 compressor part ended up costing over 200.00 to fix. company should stand behind products when they feel the need to charge the prices they do.
