I bought 2 ...1 in 2003 for the living room and 1 more for the bedroom in 2009...these units worked great all the way up to 2023 when I decided to replace them with again the same units and brand ...but newer...this is as and it gets hot...they worked great. I bought this a few weeks ago during the heat wave 110 plus degrees. It shipped in 2 days and took me 2 hours to install. Though 2 hours does sound like a lot it was very easy to install. My house stayed below 75 degrees in that weather. With a newborn baby this was a life saver

Great value for the money

I bought 2 of these last month when FPL fried my central AC unit in the middle of the Florida summer So happy I got these to cool my living room and bedroom while they tried to repair my central unit to no avail and $1300 in labor and parts. Terrible Terrible Customer/Repair Service

Purchased on May 11 2022 stopped working on the worst time sweltering heat wave August 5 2022. the unit shut off no power. I thought it tripped a breaker unplugged it checked breakers none tripped l checked outlet dedicated to A/C only with other devices outlet was good plugged unit in no illumination on plug head nor unit. I pressed reset and test nothing changed. I contacted the website 1st l received a text message with a work order request.number August 7 2022 due to extreme heat forecast l called told them l had a work order placed on line they told me disregard assigned a new one was told if l wasnt contacted after 7 days contact LG again. August 8 2022 is the last l have heard from LG. Terrible

Ive used my LG AC for a couple weeks and Im glad I bought it. It does the job for what I got it for and does it easily. The features it has are great and the remote is nice. The installation kit is better than what I normally see. Easy to install and its solid. Before I bought it I was debating on brand but my Son bought an LG washer and dryer a while back and they are very nice. I figured since those are such nice units the brand must be tops. Thanks.

Great AC unit.

I bought this as a replacement for the exact same unit that I had installed in my detached oversized 900 s.f. garage. I have multiple wood working and other tools in my garage and living in the Myrtle beach area of SC I need protection from the heat and humidity. My previous unit lasted for 6 hard years of use. It was more cost effective to buy a new unit than to repair the old one. My new unit fired up and is working perfectively as I believed it would. Looking forward to many years of my garage staying cool with reduced humidity.

Needs an add on in Hail Country

The A/C has been working very well keeping the room cool at 74 even when it is 104 outside. The only thing missing is protection from Hail for the cooling fins. The LG A/C replaced the 36+ year old Sears A/C. I used part of the Sears A/C to create a vent to protect the fins from Hail. it maybe inelegant but it works and does not impede the air flow.

We purchased the LG 15000 btu AC about a month ago. We wanted a unit this large to cool multiple room and still use a 115v 15 amp electric service. So far things are great but a caution the unit is massive and it takes at least two to install it.

I bought it a year ago and it works just the way I wanted it to It lowered my electric bill by more than half.. The cons is trying to find some one to do a yearly cleaning I did find mold on the fan blades. I reached out to Humana and all their service people do not do that work or they are out of business.

Bad design for front plastic

I bought two. Both are impossible to get the front plastic cover off without breaking tabs. Once they are broken they front grill will.noy stay on so now I enjoy blue painters tape to keep them on. Please improve this design 4 screws from thr side would be perfect.
