I can only echo nodakerdeb review about 11 months ago. We have experienced the same identical problems and here I am 12 days out from Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner. Hadn't put this in the budget but I am not going to throw more money down the drain with this piece of garbage. I can't add anymore as I would just be repeating what was already written. If this product is still available STAY AWAY.

So I purchased this stove in Nov 2018. I love that it has a very modern look and I love the large see through door, unlike the tinted doors, I just turn on my light and can see my food . The problem with this stove like so many other is the aqua lift is a lie it does not remove anything. So don't waste you time trying. I have a back back and was injured while in the service. The day I cleaned my stove after two fails with aqua-lift I called Whirlpool, and you would have thought I was their enemy. It does not take a scientist to run the cycle twice. Whirlpool you are trying to save money and push aqua lift when you know your customers are suffering. I was bent over in pain cleaning this stove. I call for help and I am talked to like I am a fool. Finally I was told that there was nothing they could do. I said then I will call my bank because this is not right. Then they said if it works I will be charged. Well it does not work, it will not work, yes there is some stem but its not intense enough to do anything to grease as oil and water do not mix. What dummy said lets steam off grease? So now I have to use aluminum foil to try and protect bottom and sides of stove which interferes with cook time. Buyer beware and just get a self cleaning stove. If you have a disability like bad back damage to your neck or arms, I suggest you get a self clean and don't be deceived by 5 star ratings. I will see if they even come out last time I had an issue they did not even come to see about my stove. Disappointed and fed up with false promises.

I just got my oven today. Purchased from Costco at a great price on sale. I'm excited. I was little concerned about the broiler section. It seems abit flimsy. Should I be concerned about how it operates because I broil alot. The reviews make me feel I've made the right choice though.

This range has many great features such as the warming oven, and keep warm cycle on the stove top. Cleaning cycle could be better. I had another whirlpool range which did not have the aqua clean and feel that it did a better job of interior cleaning.

We purchased this stove when we remodeled our kitchen. The oven has an option for rapid preheat which is nice. Also has a convection feature and three racks in the large oven with one of the racks having a split rack option which is handy. The burners heat up super quick on the stove top as well.

We've had this range for 8 months and have struggled the entire time; repair has been out but stated all was working properly. Convection mode is hugely inconsistent with some recipes requiring up to 75% longer baking time. In Bake mode, the top element does not come on, baking only from the bottom (designed this way, apparently, because hot air rises, so we were told). Top browning a baking loaf of bread requires completing the bake time, then reinserting the loaf under the broiler. We were also instructed to let the oven temperature 'settle down' for 20 minutes after the buzzer goes, indicating that it's reached the required temperature, before inserting food.
The burners are equally as inconsistent. The two large front burners seem to get hotter and hotter for 20 minutes before settling down to where they are set to. Many pancakes and eggs have been burnt on 'low' + a fraction (there are no increments on the dials). The small rear burners are equally as frustrating; many times checking on a pot supposedly on 'low' to simmer, only to find it in a rolling boil. But not always. Just inconsistent. We were told that it is designed to boil on the front and simmer on the back so simmering on the front is very tricky. Again, the lack of increments on the dial make cooking guesswork.
There is no "Add a Minute" feature on the timer so this requires shutting off the timer completely and restarting it again. And the timer itself is inconsistent; push the timer button and sometimes it will tell you to set the time, other times it does nothing and you need to push it again. With the oven in operation, sometimes it will tell you to set the time, other times it will tell you what mode you're in, advising you to push 'Start' if you accidentally push the timer button again or attempt to set the time. In short, you must watch this range every step of the way and constantly make adjustments in both cooking and baking; it is hugely inconsistent in all respects. We've been afraid to try the AquaClean'; we're quite sure it will just rust.

I purchased this in June 2017. The Aqua clean has never worked, even after it was serviced. Basically I was told that if I want a clean oven to scrub harder. When water is wiped out of oven after the Aqua Clean cycle, it was luke warm and had not removed or loosen an dirt. The glass top seems to get grimy very easily. I never had problems like this with other glass tops before. Over all because of these problems, I can only average this as a FAIR unit, and not worth the money. If you want a clean oven, you will be disappointed. Support from Whirlpool Customer Service was disappointing.

I had a Magic Chef glass top range for 22 yrs before this one. The glass top was a breeze to keep clean. This glass doesn't clean up without streaking. The "tool kit" that came with the range is useless. It looks great, until you see all the hazy streaks on the glass and the cony\trol panel. I've been an appliance repairman for almost 30 years and my customers agree with me that this glass top is just not up to snuff.

I bought this Gold Series stove three years ago so the model is slightly different (WFE715HOEHO). Mine didn't have the Frozen Bake technology or Pizza feature. I wouldn't recommend this stove if it were the last stove for sale. I could have burned my house down had I not been home when using the oven the day a relay decided to stick and turned the broiler on! I could smell something burning and went into the kitchen and my casserole was burned black on top and an error message was displaying to 'shut down the power to the oven'. My oven thermometer registered the max of 600 degrees so who knows how hot it really was. The scary thing is the oven WOULD NOT shut off. I had to flip the power switch to get it to shut off. Of course, it didn't work after that until the next day when it cooled down. It then appeared to be working fine, but two more times over the next two months the broiler kicked on again and the same scenario. I had vowed to not leave the house as long as I was using this stove and again, grateful I hadn't. The control panel is VERY expensive to replace and of course the warranty was over so I simply bought another much less complicated stove for less than the control panel was going to cost. My thoughts are the control panel went bad because, and this is important -- this stove gets VERY hot where the controls are when you use the oven I think that heat destroyed the control panel. I was not thrilled about this stove from day one. The burners don't heat fast and it took a long time to boil water. The oven did not keep an accurate or steady temperature. I have a very good oven thermometer and I can't remember one time it heated accurately. It would get close, but it seems like the temp had to drop 25 degrees before the oven would kick on again and then it would heat it 25 degrees hotter. The GE I bought to replace it keeps absolute accurate and steady temperature. The ceramic cooktop looked terrible after a few days. It didn't scratch per se, but it had marks that looked like metal on it. I am very careful with my appliances, but those marks were unpreventable and they simply would not come off. I got used to them, but if you are fussy about a perfect glass top, this is not the one. The Aqualift clean is THE BIGGEST JOKE ever! I does not clean the oven. It doesn't even begin to clean the oven and I didn't have a very dirty oven. I always cleaned up a spill on the bottom as soon as the oven cooled down so I could keep on top of that, but the unavoidable splatters to the side and back -- NO WAY the Aqualift clean will touch that. I finally gave up and used oven cleaner -- surprise!! it ruined the surface of the inside of the oven. The surface is not the speckled porcelain of the ovens of yesterday. You cannot use oven cleaner on this oven, and I'm not referring to the formula with lye, but the one in the blue can with no fumes. I gave this stove a 1 star rating but the only positive thing I can say about it was the rapid pre-heat worked very well and did preheat the oven quickly and it's a nice looking stove. But, it could burn your house down. If you buy this stove definitely buy the extended warranty for as long as you can and make sure your house insurance is up to date.

I bought this range this month and have had nothing but problems with the oven. It takes way too long to preheat and it never reaches the correct oven temperature. It is always at least 50 degrees lower than what it states. I used the convection option quite often on my old range and this range never gets hot enough and the food is just warm, not hot and takes twice as long to even cook at all. The convection option on this range is terrible! I purchased a special oven thermometer to check the temperature of the oven and every time it was at least 50 degrees off, lower than what it should be. The black ice, which is what the surface of the range is called, shows every finger print and smudge and is hard to keep clean. I was really looking forward to a Whirlpool Range since I've always heard good reviews about Whirlpool products but this range is very disappointing. I was planning on buying a Whirlpool refrigerator this Labor Day weekend but after my experience with this range I'm really questioning if that would be a smart thing to do. I have a Whirlpool microwave and last month purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher and they have both been great but this range is definitely of very poor quality. I had to contact their service dept. to have someone come out to try and fix it but I have to wait 7 more days before someone will get out here.... I don't live way out in the country...I live in the Seattle area, so I don't understand why it should take so long to get a repairman out here.

We purchase a similar model back in 2010 and loved it so when we moved to a new house this spring we immediately ordered this updated model. We love the features however have had a recurring, intermittent issue with the oven. When we start the oven using rapid preheat, sometimes the oven will lot switch over to bake, it just stays in rapid preheat mode.and the temperature display stops 5 degrees short of the target temperature. The first warranty repair (on 7/31) consisted of replacing the control board. Unfortunately, this did not correct the issue and a second warrantybrepair is scheduled for 8/24.
We also had a problem when baking a frozen pie on convection. The pie was not even close to being done at the time indicated on the box for convection ovens. Only after cancelling convection and starting the conventional bake did the pie start to bake properly. We will be monitoring this with oven thermometers going forward to see if more warranty repairs are needed.

We purchased a similar model back in 2010 and loved it but had to leave it behind when our house sold. As soon as our new house closed we replaced the range with this one. We love the updates - great product. Our only concern is the cleaning cycle being low temp. The jury is still out on this - hopefully the addition of the oven mat will keep cleaning to a minimum.

As a semi-professional chef, I am delighted with this stove!!! The "adjustable size" front burners are great; they allow me to cook on large burners next to each other rather than diagonally. So far, I've only used the oven to heat plates, but I can say the temperature is accurate - no more having to add 15-25 degrees. I did a lot of research before purchasing this range and am extremely happy with my choice. Also, the delivery/installation was excellent.

I did a great deal of online research prior to purchasing this range. What I didn't do was go see perspective ranges in person first. My first observation after removing the range from the box was how cheap and flimsy the storage drawer is. To make matters worse, the bottom corner of the drawer was damaged and bent. I was ableto make contact through the store I purchased from who coordinated a replacement. Now I have to wait for someone to contact me to replace the whole thing because they can't just replace the drawer.

I have had this oven for a few weeks now and it hasn't diapointed. The cook top temperature is extremely responsive. I've had cook tops before that take a long time to cool when turned down. Which Would lead to boiling over almost daily. The real star of this oven is without a doubt the true convection cooking. I made homemade pizzas for my daughter's and cooked both at the same time on different racks. I've never had pizza, that I've made, cook so evenly and come out so perfectly crispy and golden brown. My only complaint, especially with young children, would be that the hot surface indicator light turns off before the cook top is cool enough to touch. Otherwise I am very pleased.
