Room Conditions
To maximize your unit's cooling efficiency, Calculate the required BTU according to the conditions of the room in which it will be placed.

For rooms with a lot of sunlight, choose a unit with at least 10% more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
For kitchens, select a unit with 4,000more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
If the room will contain more than 2 people on a regular basis, add an additional 600 BTUs per person.
