We got this water filter for our home filtration system. I had no idea clean water would help to protect out plumbing and appliances! Apparently the less sediments in the water the better it is for your home!!

We are on a well and have very hard water. After installing this filter, a reddish/orange sediment started accumulating on the filter, which means that that sediment (I think it's iron) is present in the water and isn't normally filtered out. I'm very pleased to see that this filter is capable of removing that kind of thing so quickly!

Installing to filter was easy.
Got this system for my sister-in-law. She lives in a mobile home. The mobile home park is a good park and well maintained. But they provide well water and they treat the water themselves. Hence we notice that the water can taste and look different from week to week. The system was pretty easy to setup, but I did have to go to the hardware store to find different adapters to get the water lines to fit. (This was more of a me issue I think). It has only been a few weeks in use and so far so good. I am excited to see how it does for an extended period of time.

I'm very happy with this water filter, and how easy it is to install and change in the water filtration system. I like that it filters out lead and contaminants, and makes the water in my home safer to drink and shower in. It's amazing that one cartridge can filtrate the water in my whole house. I also like that it'll help to protect my plumbing over the years. It's nice that the filter lasts 3 months, so I won't have to replace it often too.

Easy to use instructions. Great tasting water with the use of this filter. Easy install and looks to be an easy change out when needed. Definitely a customer for life as GE is a great product. No water spillage when changing filter.

My house water was very hard but I did not want to get a water softener. This filter actually made the water a bit softer. Does taste weird either. Very easy to install and the app is a nice additional feature

Easy installation if you have basic plumbing/home improvement skills. With not-so-pleasant city water in Florida, the filter makes the tap water and ice cubes taste and smell much better! I also like knowing it reduces sediment buildup in appliances.

This filter is great at filtering out anything that negatively effects water quality! This catches lime, rust, sediment and more! The only reason I'm knicking a star is the frewuency of filter changes. I use a lot of water in our house and need to replace this every 6 weeks but, thankfully, it is so easy to change out without using any special tools. There has definitely been a huge taste improvement and quality improvement in our water since we installed this. LOVE it.

This is just for the filter. The entire system is fantastic. The water tastes perfect. There is are no odors. The installation was a little challenging, but if you can get past that everything else is simple. The information you get and the filter change reminders are greatly appreciated. If you currently have a whole house filter upgrading to this is a cinch.

Very cool water filter that goes onto a water filtration systems. It has a shut off valve and a window that shows you when it needs to be changed out. All in all definitely worth getting and using with the GE whole house water filtration system.

Got this when I got my whole house filter 2 weeks ago and am very happy with it. I think it works great, already the water taste better and I think even the shower cleanse better. I hope the filter last a long time, as these replacements are very affordable.

Well I like the size of this filter and I think it will last quite a while. I believe it will keep the water fresh and clean and eliminate any dirt and residue. I am pretty sure I will buy more in the future.

This filter is great! This catches lime, rust, sediment and more! So easy to change out to a new filter and no tools needed. Just unscrew replace and screw back together. I can defiantly taste the change in our water!

This was extremely simple to install and it makes filter changes easy for our water filtration system. Shipping was quick, which makes future filter replacements more accommodating. It has a 30 day warranty so if there are any issues they will replace it, which is another nice factor.

The filter is easy to change and seems to be of very good quality. They are set to last at least 3 months before needing to change. They are designed to reduce sediment and sand. So far we are very happy.

The GE whole house filter works in the GE Whole House filtration system. It reduces chlorine taste, sediment and sand. The filter filters down to 5 microns. It is very easy to install and lasts for about 3 months or 20 thousand gallons. They recommend replacement at three months. At end of useful life for the filter it will restrict flow as it is filled with sediment. To me this is a good thing as it is doing what it says it will. It has a great price point for a filter

The GE FTHPM - Water Filter works exactly as it should. It is amazing at removing sediments and sand from our water supply. I could tell a huge difference the first day. It's easy to install also. I can do it myself with minimal effort. I highly recommend it.
