Worst ever since so called upgrade

I bought one of these because the other one I had went out. The doors on this one had been so called upgraded. Well should have left it the way it was. I have had the handle fixed on Mathis one 3 times in a year. Company I bought from says no good can™™t fix anymore. So I spent like 600.00 on a piece of junk. Do not buy

I haven't even had this for 2 years (about 18 months) and it quit working. About a week ago it started popping the circuit breaker when opening the door. Now it doesn't even light up. I'm not happy. I paid hard earned money for this unit and I'm seeing where this is happening to other people. And only a 1 year warranty on a unit like this? What a joke. This is a testament to the confidence Frigidaire has in their products. Maybe it's time for a class action lawsuit.

Bought the entire set for my kitchen a year and a half ago. Microwave started blowing fuses, replaced all door switches, fuse, high voltage capacitors, everything else reads good when checked. Now its blowing breakers to my box. Not even 2 years old and it's no good. Extremely disappointed. My previous microwave was over 12 years old and still worked, just wanted a matching set. Frigidaire should be ashamed of the products they are putting out.

This is a beautiful microwave. However, after only 1 year 5 months it completely died! Repaired. Two months later has died AGAIN!! Repairman said if they fix our microwave it will just happen again as it is a design problem. So much for Frigidaire! Of course warranty is only good for one year. We use minimally as just my husband and I. Very disappointed! Very again!

The first brand new microwave needed to be replaced within 8 months. The same issue happened on the replacement. To me this is a faulty design flaw that Frigidaire will not accept. We had the kitchen remodel and Grand Appliances and TV recommend The Frigidaire line. Now my new fridge needs a new ice maker as it keeps making noise. We are sorry that we purchased the entire line for our kitchen as we will NOT recommended Frigidaire to any family or friends.

We have been enjoying this microwave but to be honest, haven't tried the convection part of it yet. I will! But, we see that there is a place for a PureAir Microwave Filter -- when used with the recirculation fan. Is the recirculation fan the same as the regular fan in the unit? If yes, the microwave didn't come with a filter (and it says to replace every 6 months). If no, where/what is the recirculation fan?

I if you buy this over the range microwave, do not install it over the range. The handle is make of plastic and will melt. Replacement cost is over $100.00 and will still be plastic. I would not recommend this product. I contacted customer service about the product and was told that nothing could be done because the range was out of warranty. The handle started melting within weeks of installation but I was out of town.

I purchased the entire gallery line. The Microwave is the only piece that has NOT had a problem from installation. The oven did not work, dishwasher does not dry the dishes and the refrigerator is trying to suck the sink out of the cabinet, the obscene fridge noise is awful.

Was originally going to the buy the OTR Frigidaire Gallery convection oven/ microwave unit. It became unavailable, alas. "Stepped down" to this unit. Still, it has been a fine performer. Like my new Frigidaire electric range, the controls and styling are superb. Best in class. Practical performance has been very satisfactory. The unit is powerful, especially cooking prepared meals. I had an oops already, my fault, which produced major splattering inside the oven. Clean up was easy and left no stains. Would buy unit again and I recommend it to be considered by others.

I was not impressed with the microwave to begin with, the door is hard to open, it beeps ENDLESSLY if you don™™t immediately open it after finishing cooking. I have not found a way to turn that feature off. The Frigidaire warranty is 1 year so you can expect your appliances to work for 18 months. On our 17th month of very light, small family use, the microwave blew the breaker with regular use and now no longer works, kicking the breaker every time it is plugged in. I hate to buy a microwave that doesn™™t match my suite of appliances but do not want to waste another 400$ on an appliance that will only last 1 year. The only help after the 1 year mark is that they will schedule service for you.

Bought this with my other suite of Frigidaire appliances sight unseen based on it having a convection feature. The door is extremely flimsy and does not open well -you have to really yank on it. For the money I™™m not impressed

This product vents underneath your cabinets. The venting exhaust from your range moves dirty air into your cabinets and all over the front of your cabinets. This venting design is Terrible ! Common sense should tell Frigidare to redesign this product Correctly !

The Frigidaire Gallery microwave is a well designed product with a sleek style and excellent features. The end of cycle reminder is a good feature that reminds you to remove the item once the cooking/reheating is done. The sight drawback to this model is the heating up of the handle when installed over the cook top. The handle does get rather hot if the front burners on the stove are used.

So far, so good. Working and performing well.It's great to have the convection option in this appliance available when the main oven is in use. Not having a plastic interior is an automatic plus too. Stainless interior looks great.

The vent does not pull anything in, the exhaust is designed to go straight up - right into the cabinets - and I had this professionally installed. See the pictures. Condensation is all over the cabinets from the exhaust and the vent does nothing with the steam coming from the pot on the oven - again this was a professional install so everything should be working properly.

We purchased this microwave about 6 weeks ago. I like most of the features but when installing, the screw to open the filter compartment was in SO TIGHT that we had to us silicone spray. It ruined the finish. Thank goodness you don™™t see it unless the door is opened. Not pleased about that. The design on the bottom of the microwave makes it look like it is not level when looking at it from the side view. It actually is level if you look at the ™inside bottom™. The picture really doesn™™t show the 3/4 inch different from the back to the front of the cabinet.

After owning 3 GE'S. The 2nd one only lasting 3 years. I decided I wanted a Frigidaire. Works great. Did not own it long enough to try all the features. But every time I try a new one I am so happy with it.

The convection on the microwave (FGMV155CTD) works great for warming pastries or buns. I personally felt the door was hard to open. The micro is only 900 w that is less wattage than my previous microwave so it takes some time getting used to it. I felt the directions on the micro as well as in the book were very confusing. Also, I didn't like having an extra rack to put a second dinner on. I always just stacked my dinners.

We bought this three months ago and since we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel it sat in the garage unopened. When we opened the shipping packaging it was severely damaged but since it had been in our possession more than thirty days the retailer disavowed the product. The manufacturer was accommodating but their idea of service is ANY DAY NOW and so it sits waiting to be repaired.
