Mine only worked for 6 months then it stopped draining and started gurgling water. They send me a replacement which does the exact same thing right out of the box. I call for a 2nd replacement. It™™s been a full month and I still haven™™t received it. I™™ve called 3 times and they said I should get one soon. Meanwhile we are melting here in Houston.

I live in an old house on the secod floor with no air flow and I wasn't going to do another summer without AC. We put it in the living room which is the largest room. With ceiling fans on low spreading the air, I hardly ever leave that room anymore. It doesn't cool down the whole floor but I didn't expect it to because it isn't an open floor plan. But I have never felt so comfortable in that humid and hot house.

Works super well, has the ability to cool down my room in no time at all. If I leave the door to my bedroom open it will cool down my entire apartment in less than an hour. I love the remote feature as well, since it's tucked away in a hard to reach area.

I™™ve had it for about a month and it works great! Keeps the room cool. Not too noisy. Easy to install. The remote feature is super handy. My only issue is that it defaults to the ™economy™™ setting after you power it off. (Essentially it™™s the mode that shuts off after the set temperature is reached.) I prefer the mode where it™™s continuously running. Especially since the sound differs in each mode, so I™™m constantly turning my tv volume up/down unless I remember to put it back into ™always on™™ mode. But, overall, it™™s pretty sweet!

Received this as a gift, after suggesting it both for size and previous experience with 8000 model. While this doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the 8000 model (temp sensing remote, side insulation panels) it's a lot more quiet than the smaller model. And, it really pumps out the cool air in a large open plan space. Very pleased and will look at Frigidaire for other rooms in the house.
