This model is a basic gas range needed for one of our furbished cooperative units, we will purchase others as other units are furbished.Frigidaire is a brand that has been, RELIABLY, in our household's since I was knee high to a grasshopper, I do not have a need to try another brand.

Plain and simple stove. No bells and whistles but it works for cooking food, which is what I needed it for. It's minimally marked so no worries of anything wearing off over time. However, the knobs are extremely sensitive and you can easily turn the fire off or gas on without realizing. It's a bit high on the price end for it's features but I shopped sales and got it for about $150, I wouldn't have spent more than that though.

I wanted a very basic gas stove, no frills, no bells, no whistles and no power burners. This is exactly that. So - I'm a happy camper. Two improvements - that the sound when the oven reaches temperature was louder and that the light in the oven went on automatically when you open the oven door. But I guess those might be considered 'bells and whistles'. I got exactly what I wanted and it works just fine.

I love being able to cook with gas but everything in the drawer under the stove gets extremely hot so I can't keep pans, etc. in there that I'd like to use. It seems like a waste of space also seems like a safety issue.

We bought this and a fridgidaire oven at the same time and haven't had any issues at all. The fridgidaire service tech came to our house and setup the oven for propane for us showing us all we needed to know. Very impressed.
